Julius has over 20 years of legal experience specialising in antitrust and competition law, public procurement and State aid. He advises clients at all stages of competition law and State aid proceedings, including investigations and negotiations before the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, merger control proceedings, litigations before the Market Court as well as EU Commission proceedings. In public procurement matters Julius has extensive experience in advising both contracting authorities as well as tenderers at all stages of the procurement process, including representing clients in litigations before the Market Court and the Supreme Administrative Court.
Additionally Julius has lengthy experience in matters related to general business law and contractual law, as well as consumer protection legislation. He is a skilled negotiator, who readily represents clients in both domestic and international contract negotiations. Julius is known for his business-oriented approach and his ability to turn complex legal questions into clear and practical solutions for his clients. Julius is also an experienced and well-liked speaker who enjoys providing training in his areas of expertise.
