Maria specializes in AI and technology law and has experience in both in-house roles and legal and regulatory consulting. Before joining Vestra, she worked at a Finnish startup specializing in AI governance, where she advised on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. Maria also has international experience in technology regulation, particularly in regulatory matters relating to telecommunications and ICT.
In addition to AI and technology law, Maria has broad experience in contracts, data protection, and information security, as well as practical experience in applying and implementing regulatory requirements as part of organizations’ operations. She holds an IAPP CIPP/E certification.
